Classic Nintendo games had awesome music, and two musicians prove it in this video.

Hartford, Connecticut-based jazz pianist Scott Bradlee and saxophonist Ben Golder-Novick have created a video called Eight Bits of Jam, featuring piano-sax versions of music from Super Mario Bros. 2, Zelda and Punch-Out!! among others. The joke is that they will come to your house and play these tunes while you game.

It’s sad that they’re kidding, because that would be awesome. Their renditions of the tunes are fantastic. Video’s funny, but I’d love to have the MP3s of these!
