Infinity Ward released patches this week to fix several fan-abhorred glitches in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox 360.
The latest corrective code rebalanced the Akimbo 1887s (the game’s supereffective shotguns), plugged a hole that allowed for hacking player prestige and fixed issues with public “private” matches.
These issues were fixed first for the PlayStation 3 on Dec. 18. According to Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling, delays in Microsoft’s approvals process are what kept the Xbox 360 patch from going live until Monday.
