Welcome to Betawatch, Massively’s weekly report on the state of MMO betas. In each installment, we’ll report everything from the latest open betas, closed betas and even alphas in one convenient place. Plus, we’ll make sure to include as much info on each game’s current status, including projected release dates (if known) and links to the sign-up forms to get yourself into that beta you’ve been seeking.
This has been a relatively quiet week on Betawatch, since most developers are a bit busy with other things right now, but it’s a sort of calm before the storm — expect quite a few changes in September! We do have a few exciting pieces of news for this week.
Final Fantasy XIV‘s closed beta has ended, and open beta is set for August 31st. The current round of closed beta testing ended for Vindictus earlier this week as well, and Earth Eternal‘s uncertain fate got a little less dire.
